The government is finalizing a roadmap for implementing e-commerce in Indonesia to smooth the target of increasing electronic trade transactions by US$130 billion by 2020.
There are various things prepare in achieving this quite ambitious target. Minister of Communication and Informatics Rudiantara reveal that the government had held a formal ministerial meeting to discuss preparing a roadmap for implementing the electronic trading system known as e-commerce.
Several issues that have been deem necessary

Growth will double considering that currently the size of the e-commerce market is only around 0.7% of conventional trade, even though the potential can increase up to 13% of conventional trade.
The development of e-commerce is extraordinary fast. The roadmap prepared by the government is an anticipation so that Indonesia is not left behind and can benefit from this rapid development.
